About Anna Sonnenberg
Hi! I’m Anna Sonnenberg, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based freelance writer and editor. Since 2014, I’ve published well over 1,000 pieces for SaaS companies, marketing agencies, and industry publications.
In that time, I’ve worked with 45+ B2B clients—each for an average of 1 year (and some for 6+ years). While I prioritize long-term client relationships, I’m also open to one-off projects.
Whether I’m writing or editing, I draw on my background in the arts. Before launching my business in 2014, I spent a decade cataloging, preserving, and installing artwork.
Working in the arts helped me develop a strong sense of taste. I know when content looks or sounds just right—and when it’s going to resonate with your audience.
In addition to writing and editing, I’m also:
- A paper, pen, and stationery enthusiast. Yep—even when I’m not writing for clients, I’m writing for myself.
- An ardent reader. Reading a wide range of fiction and non-fiction inspires ideas and improves my writing.
- An avid hiker. From the woods to the greenway to the city, a long walk is the best way to spark creativity.
